Find the support that fits where you are.

Publishing can be difficult to navigate even when the industry was built with you in mind. For writers whose voices, identities, or communities have historically been underrepresented, access to funding, mentorship, industry knowledge, and trusted guidance can be even harder to find.

This page brings together reputable opportunities and Delnic-created publishing tools in one place. We prioritize official sources and clearly label opportunities that are closed, paused, recurring, or opening soon so you do not waste time chasing stale listings.

Last verified: August 26, 2026. Deadlines, award amounts, eligibility, and program availability can change. Always confirm details on the official program website before applying.

On Our Radar

Good programs can pause. We tell you when they do.

Currently Paused

MIT Press Grant Program for Diverse Voices

The MIT Press program supports authors bringing excluded and chronically underrepresented perspectives to its publishing fields, but the Press currently states that the program is paused because of a funding shortfall. We are keeping it here because it is worth watching if funding resumes.

A Better Resource Page

No stale grant lists. No mystery links.

We will continue adding opportunities that are reputable, relevant, and useful to underrepresented writers. When a program changes, pauses, or closes, the listing should say so instead of quietly sending you toward outdated information.
